Went to purchase an additional 2gb ddr3 RAM for my ASUS right after work coz seriously, 2gb is nt enuf for wind7 platform. I actually bought the RAM coz I wanna try out Dragon Age: Origins (didnt managed to shop for the game tho), which gonna eat a considerable amount of RAM imo.

Seems like the index drop by 0.1 compared to a42jr which scored 4.9

He turned the Arab land into a world financial capital, comparable to London & New York City in terms of standard of living/networth.
He broke taboos by criticizing who “sit around waiting, praising our glorious past and blaming others for our failures and problems.” - source

A foreseeable risk for fresh grads

As the world economy is slowly on the recovery track from the '07-'09 financial crisis owing mainly to US sub-prime mortgage crisis, there's this rush of fresh graduates purchasing properties right after few months joining the workforce in Msia. Such temptation of owning a property is further enhanced by those fancy2 fresh graduate housing loan schemes offered by our local banks. These HL schemes are so flexible that one can easily get a loan with minimal requirements.

Its may be quite a favorable situation for grads who are really in need of a house, but do bear in mind that our still-healthy economy is currently maintained mainly by the people's positive sentiments. There's no solid forecast of how long can the our property bubble lasts b4 it bursts, esp with the Dubai debt crisis on its way. Not to mention that the nation's property market is nearing its peak due to the fact that most Asians assume buying properties will be the best investment all way round. There are many other factors to consider other than just looking at the best interest rates a bank can offer nowadays. Take note that our current Base Lending Rate, 5.55% is actually at one of its lowest point compared to years before, so there's no promise of how long can it be maintained for the coming years ... esp with current economy condition.

Important factors to take note when u're seriously considering of getting a property:

accessibility - is the property easily accessible via highways/public transportation? how far is the place from schools, shops, & other basic facilities?
property type - freehold/leasehold? commonly speaking a landed freehold property is always the best choice, yet nowadays people opt for service residence (condos etc) due to the high market value of landed prop.
financial stability - its much better to check if u're can afford the 10% down-payment & +-5% legal fees as most banks nowadays dont cover full loan amount.
Project developer - for uncompleted properties, its good to get vital info on the related developer to ensure that ur property will be duly completed. Its wise to go for renowned developers e.g. Sime Darby, IJM, Malton, UMLand, etc ... instead of some newly established co.
Pricing - always try to get the best from real-estate agents. Nvr trust 1, manipulate as many as u can. it will be better if u check on the market value of the property from valuers e.g. Regroup, KGV, Raine Horne etc b4 purchasing one. Certain residential areas are really a good catch esp those in Mont Kiara, Kenny Heights, Kinrara, & Damasara. But these areas are usually out of fresh grads' reach as they cant really afford the repayment.
Think - dont buy if u dont need to. always take ur steps carefully as 1 bad investment will do some great damage to ur financial standing.

Finally i started working after 7 months of 'fei'-ing at home.

This week's my first week working in Public Bank Berhad as a credit officer.
Well i'm currently still a Graduate Trainee...kinda tough during the 1st week coz i'm very new to business & loans processing. Everything is 'bout business, business, & business ... cool huh.
My mentors told me i'll be designated as a senior operations officer once i pass my probation period.
Actually they were quite surprised coz the bank doesnt hire many GTs nwadays & yet i'm able to get the job with a degree in engineering. Lol, maybe i'm lucky? :P
Credit job is tough. Datelines to be met, phone rings more than 30times a day, site visits, & updates on latest business dealings bla3 ... its either u get used to it or u get killed in battle.
Working hours r 8.45-5.45 ( mondays-thursdays) & 8.45-4.45 (fridays). Thank god i'm free on saturdays.
Well, i guess that's all i can crap for nw ... cant reveal anymore 'bout my job else my bank's gonna sue me for sure LoLx.

MIA for few days d !!! yeah ...

Feel so wuliao suddenly, decided to blog.

Was kinda busy lately ... mostly bcoz of CNY and the long-awaited structured interview. Gosh ... it was on the 5th day of CNY, so I wasnt really prepared. Well, mentally. My interview was scheduled at 12pm but delayed to 4.30pm. Its kinda crappy but glad it ended up well. Had some expectations on it tho. Hopefully I wont be disappointed haha ...

I was in Kl for bout 2days only coz my dad wanted to go home. KL life is surely a no-no for him I guessed. Well, my uncle helped me quite alot & I'm grateful for that ... esp the seasfood he treated us in Lucky Restaurant somewhere near Taman SEA. Trust me, the delicacies there is really nice. Blurrp ~

Did ntg much during the lunar new year except meeting up with relatives. Lots of my cousins have changed. Some bcame lengluis, some lengchais, some still as boring as ever ... and some grew fat(me) hahaha =P Haiz ate too much junk food liao ... need to stop T_T

Newayz, dont forget to catch those new films on screen this CNY, most are blockbusters movie. So far I've watched Underworld 3, Red Cliff 2, and Hana Yori Dango Final (i like this film~ the girl so comel la). All of them are commendable imo.

The not so lenglui punye Lin zilin (Red Cliff 2) but who cares, as long as Tony leung suke in the movie. Lolz.

Okay, I admit that I dont really like JayChou, no particular reason ... just dont like.
Stil, LeeHom's works are much more original & sentimental if you make a comparison with others.

Seriously, I dont think anyone understands whats goin on.

I've got a feeling that Mr.Fever is gonna visit me soon & i'm kinda cranky ... even lately, I get tired easily.

Its not that I'm deprived of sleep (basically I sleep >10hrs a day), mebe coz I'm still one of those in the Petronas interview waiting list? Nah ...

Hopefully I'll get a call next week tho ... so that I dont have to travel up KL twice. Petrol price is low now, still its a pain for the unemployed (like me).

Hols such a bore & I'm doing things aimlessly, with neither a motive nor motivation. In fact, most of the time I'll be clicking this site ... at least it helps to exercise my rusty brain. Still, I'm looking forward to better moments after CNY. Year of the Ox, bad for Tigers ... how true will it be? plainly superstitious perhaps? Oh dear 2009, all I want is to craft out my career path. There's been so many things in mind ... no one knows & I dont really feel like telling anyone either.

Yea ... I know myself best. All that I am, and what I really want in life.

Things are certainly better when I keep to myself.

*p/s: Things are getting really hot in Gaza. If you want me to side one of them, I'll rather not. Bcoz both sides nvr learn. As the saying goes: "war doesnt determine who's right or wrong, just who's left." A country, be it Islamic or Jewish, if the respective leader doesnt prioritize citizens' safety & welfare, he/she fails in every aspect of governing. WFP calls for a temporary ceasefire, in order to get their food aid into Gaza, yet being ignored totally by both sides. Is this the way humanity has evolved so far? ... after years of civilization? Lets just see the kind of leadership Barrack Obama can render to a world that is in such bad shape economically and politically. European community has officially announced its in recession, only America is saying she is not there yet (pretty much a classic ostrich mentality).

Speaking of social security, right now I'm having lil' of it. Things still get out of hand at times ... even when much confidence is put into them. A simple 'sigh' expresses the situation. Anyhow, I'm delighted for performing well in last semester's studies. I'm happy for myself being able to score well relying on my own capabilities. Still, I'm thankful for all the assistance received from lecturers and my dear friends in my 5 years of campus life. I've learned alot, and i'll continue to learn to be a better self.

Since tday's the last day of 2008, i'll like to wish everyone a hepi hepi new year & hopefully all my frens will have a geat start-off in 2009 *_* Guess its the perfect time to put away whatever tat's been troubling my mind & body ... certainly i hv lots of expectations in 2009, hopefully i'll be able to achieve most of them XD. Not to forget as a member of mother earth, we shud try our best in handling the global warming issue. Save the polar bears from drowning~! if u noe what i mean :P

Again, its been awhile since i last updated my blog. Well ... its been quite a busy year for me, lotsa projects and gatherings esp the last 2 months.

I'll keep it short and simple here:

i've finished my studies & i'm officially jobless ... for the time being.
11th - 17th dec : went for my batch trip frm muar to malacca & lastly batu pahat (ed's place). The whole journey was prety fun, esp when you hv poker cards in the bag.
21st - 26th dec: drove up to KL for xmas gatherings & countdown near the curve.
29th - 3rd jan'09: ok damnit. i'm suppose to travel to penang but thanx to santa ... he gave me a flu as xmas present. Arghhh nw i'm stuck at home.

If evrything turns out alright, most likely i'll be in Kl again for the careerfair on 16th-18th jan'09. Lolx it seems that i love travelling nowadays ... mebe coz i'm a lil' bored here. The year 2008 is coming to an end soon ... As for my new year resolution, i pray hard that i'll get a good job soon enuf & have a fruitful year ahead :P

i just started playing Need For Speed Most Wanted yesterday and damn, the game is good ! My current road bounty is nearly 300k & nt to mention i got chased by 20+ police patrols during a scene. Thanks to my Ecplise i was able to make my way up to blacklist 11 currently ( the game ends when you beat the guy at blacklist #1).

The blog title has been my Gtalk Status msg for 2days. You know why? coz i'm one of the very few human beings left in the campus (all back for raya). KOpetros r closed starting frm sunday for 1week & the only food stall open is the Pakistani western corner...n it opens only in the late evening (as if all humans in the campus r puasa-ing for good). A proper meal for lunch is deadly vague. The only good thing is that i'll be able to hv a decent+delicious meal during dinner time. i spend my last 40+ hrs watching Densha Otoko (the love story of beauty&nerd begins), Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha season 1+2+3, gigs of movies in my rumate's power desktop, and playing DMC4 when i'm too bored. Seriously lacking of 2 important elements here: sushi king and secret recipe!!! OMG i need them right now...... ~~oh well i dont need girls coz i'm used to being single for 21yrs~~

watched TRANSFORMERS for the 2nd time using my rumate's pc. The file is HD quality (7.5gig) , with a 21inch widescreen LCD & altec lansing it feels like cinema during the whole movie. Wow ... its stil deadly entertaining (nw i noe y ppl wanna watch it twice in the cinema), comparable to The Dark Knight.

*nahona season 1+2+3 which i'm watchin currently. the 3rd season is good.

I plan to start doing my projects tmr. If nt the workload will be nvrending....pls pls pls make me work tmr!!!

Trust me, this movie is surely worth the watch. it might be a lil' lengthy at the beginning but the storyline is real firepower with a twist too !!!
Well, managed to watch its premier tday in TGV Kinta City together with Beh, Joel, and ahhung. We watched red cliff too - sort of John Woo big production.

Yes, tday i'm delighted. My new dept manager treated everyone for a great 8 course lunch at the Tanjung Puteri Resort, during the meal he praised me for my work too. ^o^ guess life's isnt tat bad afterall.

K guys, i've figured out the key to perfect stats of combination weapon in Archlord, the F2P mmorpg on9 game.

1st get all the materials in order then just throw in a stack of 5elemental stones of the same kind..u can throw in 4 total of 5stacks. Meaning u'll be able to get 4 good green stats. The type of stones u put in will determine wat stats in it.

*i'm gonna kill tis one day...

earth = stamina
fire =physical atk
water = atk spd
air =wisdom
magic =intelligence

also, the higher is ur elemental stones lvl..the higher the stats will be....so u can fuggin' throw in all lvl6 ele n see wat the heck happens(i wont do that tho...nt worth it).

Summary:
My interpretation of the song is that it tells a story about someone who came face-to-face with the roughness of life. She was a quiet person, believing in the idealistic world filled with peace. But then reality comes crashing in: she simply would not survive if she kept being like that, and also she wouldn't be able to protect someone she loved. With these in mind, she eventually decided that she would be stronger and willing to change her perspective on life. But at the same time, deep inside her heart she still believed in her own dream, a dream of a peaceful and quiet world.

This signifies a change: YUI, a shy and quiet person, decides that she must not be afraid to say what she wanted to say. To survive this pain, YUI also decides that today's pain must be forgotten once the sun sets (signifying the end of the day), and that tomorrow would be another day.

Initially, I have three different interpretation about this verse. Whether YUI is shouting at the world (i.e. showing that she's not afraid to fight it), or YUI is talking to someone, or YUI is talking to herself, trying to keep her confidence high everyday. Based on the original lyrics, the word used to say "you" is "kimi". From what I know from animes, "kimi" is a positive, intimate call and is generally not used to refer to an opponent, so the first interpretation could be dropped. I still can't decide between the other two, though. My personal favorite interpretation would be that she's talking to us all, yes, as if saying that we should stay strong living this life, just like what she'd tried to do.

This is a kind of theme that could also be found in "Why Me" and "Tomorrow's Way". Essentially, this is about YUI being strong, facing every failures and pains with perseverance. Also, in a kind of care-free way too (YUI mentions about her wish to be more care-free in the lyrics of "HELP").

Another one-liner that's either she's talking to someone or to herself. If she talks to someone, though, then what she's trusting him on? Or could she said this to kami-sama? ("I believe my god"~HELP, is very similar to this). But then, can the word "kimi" be used to address kami-sama? I need help on this.

This shows that YUI's change is also caused by her friends' help, who should have gave her another perspective (and the truth) about what real life is like (YUI came to a conclusion that it can't be what she had wanted it to be). But deep inside, she still believe about her own dream of a peaceful world--all the while thinking that she's probably the only person still believing in such a dream (you're not, YUI, we all share this dream too).

Again, about perseverance and care-freeness. Stardust and rolling star *might* be symbols for a dream, especially the dream she still believe inside her heart.

This is a very important verse, because it might have the answer to the question we had before: whether YUI is talking to someone, to herself, or to kami-sama. The general meaning would be that YUI wanted to live a peaceful life, but that would not be possible if she wanted to protect someone. She must stand up and fight the world. Here, I conclude that all this time she is talking to someone she cared deeply enough that she is willing to change in order to protect that person.

So, the lyrics "Show me your fighting pose, come on!" means that she wants that person to be strong and to fight together with her, and "I'm putting all my trust in you" is kind of saying that YUI believes all this struggle is worthy enough to be fought together with this person.
